I have extensive experience translating marketing materials (including brochures, reports and pamphlets) for multinational companies active in the Russian market as well as Russian companies that wish to expand their presence into the English-speaking world. I am well versed in the translation of book articles, literature and other texts in the social sciences and humanities. To name one example: my translations are read by undergraduate university students across the United States in the pages of The Russia Reader (Duke University Press, 2010).
I also have experience translating texts in IT, computer science and information science, including software manuals and promotional materials and in-game character dialog for video games. I have an information science background (M.A. in Library Science from the University of Arizona), and I have worked with and translated files encoded in XML, HTML, LaTeX, BibTeX and other style and markup languages.
